It was going to be for my birthday, but we didn't get around to it because Malin and James were visiting and then we went to Seattle the following weekend to visit Dan and Ange and Jeff and Deborah. Anyway, the party was revised to be for Valentine's day, scheduled for Saturday the 16th of February 2008 (unfortunately part of a 3-day weekend).
This is a joint party with Jess and Jason (though Jason is going to be out of town - he's in Japan).
Invitees on our end include all of the SF office people at EnerNOC who live in SF/Oakland, plus Brent and Graeme from Sean's work, plus Eunnok, Al, and Isaac (who passed the invite on to Jeff Saret as well).
Tentative menu includes:
- Crostini with fig, onions, and gorgonzola from Jo
- Marinated goat cheese from Cafe Flora
- Cheese straws from the Silver Palate (maybe)
- Stuffed mushrooms with walnuts and cheese from the Silver Palate - OR - Mushroom tartlets from Cocktail Parties Straight Up!
- Baked raviolis with marinara sauce from Cocktail Parties Straight Up!
- Crudites and dip
- Tortilla and Potato chips and dip
- Pretzels
- Nut bowl, olive bowl
- Champagne grapes
- Plus whatever Jess wants to make and bring
- Rosemary lemonade from Cafe Flora
- Champagne cocktail (to be determined)
- Wine
- Beer (PBR plus something nicer)
- Campari and soda with lime
- Sparkling water
