2016 Thanksgiving

In Jackson, with Mike and Jennifer and Cindy, like last year.

Trying to figure out more vegan options this year.


First:
Spiced nuts
Stuffed mushrooms


Main:
Either Martha Stewart's wine soaked cheesecloth turkey or dry-brined turkey from NYTimes


Sides:
Pickled garden beets
Garden squash gratin (with olive oil and bread crumbs?)
Joy of Cooking stuffing (carrots, celery, parsley, onions, spices and herbs)

Mashed potatoes
Puréed butternut squash

Kale caesar salad
Some kind of brussels sprouts

Salad with Italian dressing

Bread

Drinks:
